What a great interview. so inspiring. I can relate to the teeth grinding and stress related problems. Starting a new business and putting yourself out there can be tough but so self rewarding. Love the unique costumes. Wishing you lots of future success with your business for years to come!

I struggle with keeping my designs real and true to my vision due to so many custom orders. I’ve had my business for a year now, and everyday I’m learning more and feeling more confident. It’s so easy to change your product to please others, but then you get lost in the latest trend and lose yourself. Bravo for keeping your stand. I love your items! This article was very inspiring. wow. what a great summary of the first year of business. what a crazy ride it is! I love gretel’s description of walking into the first retail store “with her heart in her mouth”. It’s such an apt description of how you feel starting out when everything you do is so personal and close to your heart.

What an inspiring interview. As a stay at home mother I aslo trying to start a business whilst raising a child. I started my businesses because of redundancy and it has been hard but worth it to spend all day with my son.

I love your costumes for children and love the girls options. I don’t like the whole pink and princessy thing for girls either!

I also want to say congratulations on a great blog. I will be bookmarking and visiting often!
